Spaghetti and cornbread

"My neck hurts. Time to try something else..."

"Ahhh! Much better!"

I made spaghetti in the solar cooker. I put in dried onions, home-canned ground venison, a can of spaghetti sauce, fresh oregano and basil from my garden, uncooked spaghetti noodles (broken into pieces), and a pint of water (for the noodles to absorb while they cooked).

Then I set the pot in the reflector on the picnic table. Two hours later it was not only fully cooked, the noodles had almost turned to pasta pudding!

I mixed up cornbread and plopped it on top of the spaghetti and let it cook. When we ate it we sprinkled shredded mozzarella cheese on top. What a delicious meal! And all cooked free using heat from the sun!
