It's cool, the rain falling all afternoon and evening added enough weight to what was about a foot of snow before the rain compressed it, and every now and then there'd be a tremendous racket as large sections of snow broke loose and slid off the metal roof with a huge "scrape" followed by a loud "WHOOMP"! I hope the dog and cats stay away from the edge of the cabin!
Holy cow, that was all one sentence except that last bit about the dog and cats! Pbththt to my editor!
