Anniversary and new dog

Today Steven and I had our anniversary, and we celebrated by going to the shelter and picking out a dog.

Meet "Odie", so named because her tongue is larger than life! Reminds us of the dog in the cartoon, "Garfield"!

"Can I drive? Huh? Huh?"

(sulk)

"Oh boy, my new home!"

The kitten meets the dog. It's love at first sight...not!

In fact, she decided to get up high and just observe.

We're contemplating naming the kitten "Garfield", now that we have "Odie"!

The goatling meets Odie. In the ancient tradition of goat-meets-dog, the goat bows his head.

And then the dog bows.

(This is all baloney, of course! They were, in reality, bouncing around and deciding who was "boss"!)
